22nd Annual Shining Star Mini Meet

 
At North Star Swim Club, we love to give the youngest swimmers their own day to “shine.” Once again, we are hosting the 22nd Annual Shining Star Mini Meet. This Meet is designed specifically for the 7 & Under Age Group and is as exciting and memorable for the swimmers as it is for the families!
 
The Mini Meet will be held on Sunday, July 8th at 8:00 a.m. It will a combination of boys and girls.
 
Here are a few items to remember:

The Mini Meet is open to all swimmers. You do not need to be part of the Suburban Swim League or affiliated with any organized swim team to participate.
Each swimmer is allowed to enter five (5) individual events and one (1) relay event. All swimmers will receive Participant ribbons; each Heat Winner will receive a ribbon; Medals will be awarded to the top 1st – 5th place finishers in each individual event and to the teams finishing 1st – 3rd in the relay events.  A special Team Trophy will be presented to the Top Team – Girls and Top Team – Boys. 
Entries and fees must be submitted to North Star Pool by 5 pm on Friday, June 29th. All entries will be taken on a "first come, first served" basis. Please get your entries in as soon as possible. Entry forms will be located on the SSL website (www.sslswim.org) under "Coaches' Corner – Special Meets."
Each team must provide either a timer or an official. Please note the name of your volunteer on the entry form.
We will be opening the field behind the pool to attendees during the meets. Please feel free to bring extra chairs and cabanas to cool off from the sun in between races.
